GEM Draw, from Digital Research, is an easy to use Vector based drawing program for the GEM Desktop. It features the ability to open two drawing windows and drag objects between different drawings.

GEM Graph is an easy to use, but simplistic, tool for creating presentation graphs. It runs within the GEM Desktop, has a very Macintosh-like user interface, and was sold alongside the GEM Desktop product. It can import lotus (*.wks) spreadsheets and others.

Digital Research GEM WordChart is a very basic slide making graphics tool for the GEM Desktop. With it, you can organize an array of text boxes, use a variety of fonts and font sizes, and select from a number of pre-defined borders. The graphics are vector-based, so as to produce sharp, high quality 35mm slide, transparency, or laser printer output.

GEM Write, from Digital Research, is a simple document editor. It supports embedded images as well as bold, italic, and underline fonts, but only monospaced. It requires GEM Desktop

Generic CADD, originally from Generic Software, Inc., was a popular low-cost 2D CAD program targeted at casual drafting users. Initially it competed against AutoCAD, and the budget TurboCAD. The original version offered a number of separately purchasable modules.

GeoPublish was a rudimentary desktop publishing program for the Apple II and C64 that ran under GEOS. In 1993, Geoworks re-released their commercial standalone Geoworks Writer product as a shareware product reprising the name GeoPublish.

Graftool is a scientific graphing program and presentation tool. It supports 1-variable histograms, parametric and polar plots, scatter and vector plots, 3d-chart surfaces, shadowed contour plots, trajectories, 2-variable histograms, 3d-scatter, vector and stratification charts.

Grammatik is a standalone grammar checker, and was possibly the first grammar checker for personal computers. Later versions were built in to Word Perfect. It competed against RightWriter.

Graphwriter is a business presentation and graphing package geared towards the production of 35mm slides. Supports Polaroid Corp.'s Palette 35mm slide producer and a wide variety of printers and plotters. For its time it was considered a large program, and targeted primarily towards corporate users. It also features the ability to create Gantt, organization, and bubble charts. In 1986 it was acquired by Lotus Development Corp along with Freelance.

It was extremely popular in the late 1980s. At release, it competed against many graphing products such as PFS:Graph (AKA IBM Graphing Assistant ), Microsoft Chart, ChartMaster, and Cricket Graph, just to name a small few. A Windows port was released in 1991, but it lost out to Microsoft Powerpoint.

Harvard Professional Publisher is an advanced desktop publishing tools for DOS. It includes a powerful set of tools, supports complex layouts, can be used to create long documents, and can embed bitmapped images. It features a "WYSIWYG" graphical user interface, supports the use of a mouse, and supports LaserJet printers.
