WordPerfect 7.x (Win)
During the late 1980's, WordPerfect was THE standard word processor for DOS based PCs in big business. Under DOS, it competed mostly against Wordstar. WordPerfect for Windows enjoyed some success in the early Windows environments, but was quickly displaced by Microsoft Word for Windows. Later Windows versions were part of Borland Office/Novell PerfectOffice/Corel Office/Corel WordPerfect Office.

Release notes
The version of WordPerfect 7 for Windows listed below is the first release. The first release ONLY installs and runs under Windows 95. It will not install at all on Windows NT based OSes.
For the NT 3.51/4/XP compatible version see Corel Office 7.
The WordPefect Language Module CD provides additional language support for WordPerfect 7 and earlier.
WordPerfect 7, and the WordPerfect Suite 7 is the last version to run on Windows 3.1.
