The IBM Accounting Assistant Series is a set of accounting and management tools. The series is made up of different modules or "editions". The Accounting Assistant Series targeted small to medium sized businesses, while IBM's "Business Adviser" series targeted large businesses. entries, generating invoices and purchase orders, and producing special reports. Information can be shared with General Accounting, Accounts Receivable & Billing, and Accounts Payable Editions.

Business Adviser is a high-end modular accounting and business management program targeted at large businesses. It was written by BPI for IBM, but is not simply a rebranded BPI product. Inventory Control keeps track of inventory in warehouses supporting different costing methods and generates purchase orders and reports.

MyInvoices, from MySoftware Co., is a simplistic low-cost budget application that generates and stores invoices, tracks sales, fees, and time. It was marketed to service-related business individuals. The Equalizer Investment Software (1993) 0 Financial DOS

This is client software used to access a Charles Schwab financial information service. It keeps track of your portfolio, alerts you when limits are hit, tracks commissions, and produces tax reports. It connects you to their information systems to give you direct access to information similar to what professional investors use. Most of this software will do nothing as it requires a Compuserve account. It competed with program services such as Dow Jones Market Manager Plus.

This is a promotional utility for Windows 3.1 distributed by T.Rowe Price, an investment management firm. You feed it your financial information and it computes your optimal retirement plan based on services provided by T.Rowe Price.

VersaCAD (1988) 2 Graphics Engineering DOS

First released in 1983 by T & W Systems Inc (later Versacad Corporation) and based on their earlier T-Square product, VersaCAD is a sophisticated professional object design and drawing tool for the IBM PC. Visual CADD (1994) 3 Engineering Windows

Visual CADD is a greatly enhanced version of Generic CADD designed for Microsoft Windows. It was created by Numera Software Corporation, which consisted of many original Generic CADD programmers, after Generic CADD was acquired and then abandoned by AutoDesk. It never regained its popularity and was eventually acquired by Corel and IMSI before finally landing at TriTools. The original developers also created another Generic CADD offshoot called General CADD Pro.

ViewLogic WorkView Plus is a high-end Computer Aided Engineering schematic circuit design and simulation program. This software was available for a number of other platforms, such as SUN Sparc. This is one program that needs the manual - it's not the most intuitive software.
