XTree Pro Gold 1.x
XTree is an easy to use text-mode file manager. It pioneered the use of a GUI-like hierarchy tree, and provides many integrated file viewers. It competed against many other file managers including Gazelle Q-DOS and Norton Commander

Confusingly, XTree briefly changed the name to XTree Pro (1.0-1.1), then XTree Pro Gold (1.3-1.44, skipping 1.2) before settling on XTree Gold.
"Pro Gold", which started at 1.3, adds an application menu, search, viewers, split windows, mouse support, and much more.
Version 1.4 adds compressed archive creation capability.
