This is a standalone version of the enhanced filemanager that was bundled with PC-Tools for Windows. This version was released after Symantec acquired Central Point and discontinued the PC-Tools product.

Phase3 is a collection of design tools you can use to build a complete database application to run under Windows 3.x. From your design, Phase3 will generate code in C or Pascal to create a complete, stand-alone source program in your target language. Phase3 will then execute your nominated compiler to compile the final stand-alone Windows-executable EXE file. time and to re-generate the source code as required. You can also write your own Pascal of C code at any point in the application. You can do this directly within Phase3 without having to modify the generated source code. PubTech File Organizer (1989) 1 Utility Publishing Windows

The PubTech File Organizer is an alternate desktop shell for Windows that attempts to mimic the Macintosh Finder. It features drive icons directly on the desktop, a Garbage icon, and folders that open in new cascaded windows with icons representing files. Applications are easily accessible from an "Applications" menu. Files and programs may be placed directly on the File Organizer desktop. In many ways, it is similar to the Windows 95 desktop, but the earlier versions work under Windows 2!

QAPlus is an extensive set of tools to test the functionality of a PC, measure performance, and optimize the configuration. It can test motherboard resources, RAM, video cards, I/O ports, and floppy drives. Later versions supported Microsoft Windows. It competed with tools like Checkit and AMI Diagnostics.

QuarkXPress (1986) 6 Publishing Windows

QuarkXPress was THE standard publishing software during the 1990s. However it failed to update its product line to newer technologies in a timely manager, charged insane amounts for updates or additional features that should have been built in to the software, and became very abusive to their customers. Later versions required a parallel port/ADB copy protection dongle. They lost most of their market share to Adobe InDesign.

It was originally intended for GO Corporation's PinPoint pen computing device, but when that was discontinued, SmartSketch was ported to Windows and Macintosh instead.

Using U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Digital Elevation Model (DEM) files, Vistapro can accurately recreate real world landscapes in vivid detail. It can also create fractal based landscapes, and provides many customizations. Vistapro originated on the Amiga and also had a Macintosh port.

Ways is a smart dictionary, thesaurus and database multitool that works with any Windows 3.1 application. It once had been part of the Witchpen word processing suite for DOS. When certain word processors began to dominate the market, Swiss developer Hannes Keller decided to separate and enhance the dictionary. In Germany, Ways was widespread thanks to being bundled with every Highscreen brand computer in the early 1990s.
