After Dark, from Berkeley Systems, Inc, is a set of entertaining screen savers for Mac and Windows. After Dark for Windows started off as "Magic Screen Saver" for Windows 2.x. After Dark was most famous for its "Flying Toasters" screen saver. Afterdark was very popular on both the early Macintosh computers and Windows 3.0, as neither included any kind of screen saver or screen blanker that would help prevent screen burn-in.

More Windows, from Aristosoft, is a video driver that gives you a large scrollable virtual desktop on your existing VGA or EGA system. It offers several virtual desktop sizes including Portrait and Landscape - that may be preferable for different kinds of tasks. It also offers a "paper white" monochrome mode that uses less memory and features a "birds eye" view. The other video modes will consume extra Extended memory.

Features include multitasking, rotation, different viewing levels, shading, color, and image combining. The first version was for MS-DOS, and version 2 ran under Windows 2. It later repositioned itself as a sign/banner type program like the Print Shop.

AutoSketch (1987) 18 Graphics DOS

AutoSketch is a 2D vector program sold by Autodesk. Unlike artistic drawing programs, AutoSketch is specifically geared towards engineering applications. Although not as powerful as AutoCAD, it can work with 2D AutoCAD files. Autodesk also produced AutoCAD LT, a higher end 2-D drawing program. But unlike AutoSketch, AutoCAD LT was based directly on AutoCAD and worked similarly.

Aztec C is a fast and efficient C language compiler that produced compact, fast code. Its featured support for many platforms including MS-DOS, Apple II DOS 3.3 and ProDOS, Commodore 64, Macintosh, CP/M-80, CP/M-86, TRS-80, Amiga, and Atari ST. Cross compiler hosts also included VMS and Unix. It competed against Microsoft C, Apple MPW C, Lattice C, and many others.
