3D Home Architect 2.0
Broderbund's 3D Home Architect is a home-design oriented CAD program. It includes a variety of home decor related objects, and can render the results in 3D.
Unlike a full blown CAD program, one would simply start with a predefined plan and drag and drop predefined objects, such as walls, doors, and windows. In addition to 3D-modeling from any view, it could produce printed plans, and material lists. This ease of use made it a very popular program for do-it-yourself home designers.
The program was created by Advanced Relational Technologies, who also sold their own high-end commercial CAD program called "Chief Architect".
