SmartPaper 1.x
SmartPaper is a shareware desktop enhancement tool for Windows 3.1 that adds the ability to display custom bitmapped images in the backgrounds of MDI (Multiple Document Interface) windows such as File Manager, and Program Manager.
It works with 16 color and 256 color bitmaps.
Posting this here because this is an old favorite, and I keep getting asked about it!

This application is designed for Windows 3.1, but will run on 3.0 if 3.1 compatibility DLLs are installed (such as through installing Visual Basic 3.0).
It does not work with 32-bit applications, only 16-bit applications.
Word and Excel draw their own MDI windows, and are not compatible.
This is a 16-bit Windows 3.0 application.
