OWL Guide 1.x
OWL Guide is a hypertext authoring system geared for creating guides. Guides may include text, hyperlinks, and embedded graphics. There were versions for Microsoft Windows and the Macintosh, a separate guide reader product, and tools for converting between the two systems. It is notable as the first Windows version runs under Windows 1.x.
It is also notable that it beat Apple HyperCard to the market. However OWL Guide is more document oriented, and lacked programmable scripting until version 3.
