KEA is a VT420 terminal emulator with advanced features for mainframe users. configurable keyboard mappings, macros, programmable buttons, customizable menus, file transfer, multiple sessions, integration with Windows applications and featured advanced deployment capabilities. It even offered a an API set that enabled third party applications to access the emulator programmatically.
There were other variations of KEA, such as KEA! 340 that emulated a VT340 graphics terminal.
It was commonly used in large organizations that had VAX/VMS systems, but it could also be used with Unix.
This version is for Windows 95 and NT.
