GEM Draw, from Digital Research, is an easy to use vector based drawing program sold as a standard application alongside the GEM Desktop. Uniquely for the time, it features the ability to open two drawing windows and drag objects between different drawings.
It supports drawing lines, curves, rectangles, ellipses, polygons, arcs, text, and pattern filling. It could be used to make simple logos, diagrams, charts, and business graphics. GEM Draw pictures could then be placed in to GEM Write documents.
This provided a very integrated Macintosh-like experience for IBM PC users in 1985, prior to the release of Microsoft Windows.
