ABC 3D Atlas 98
3D World Atlas, from Creative Wonders (A joint venture between Capital Cities/ABC and Electronic Arts), was an award winning educational and reference product. It presents the Earth as an interactive globe, that users can rotate and zoom in on detailed satellite imagery of Earths actual terrain. At the time, providing such satellite imagery on a single CD was a new and unusual thing.
The software also includes information about physical, political, and environmental geography, statistics, and a trivia game.
Released versions include 3D Atlas (1994), 3D Atlas 97 (1996), 3D Atlas 98 (1997), and 3D Atlas 98 Deluxe Travelers Edition (1997).
