Direct Access is an easy to use menuing program designed to simplify access to applications on systems with many programs loaded on the hard drive. It is customizable, includes screen blanking, and includes password protection and usage logging. Later versions also detect common programs already installed on the hard disk.

DRI Access Manager (1986) 0 DOS

Access Manager is a database programming library sold by Digital Research. It supports key fields, b-tree indexes, record locking, and deleted records. It is designed for use with Digital Research language products including DR C, CBASIC, PL/I, and Pascal MT+, and may be used alongside the Display Manager programming libraries. There were versions for both CP/M and MS-DOS.

Easy Access Menu System (1989) 1 Utility DOS

Easy Access Menu system, from TengWare, is a customizable menuing system for DOS that features a built in calendar. It is shareware, but there are few archived versions of it out there.

HyperAccess (1985) 0 Communications DOS

HyperAccess is a telecommunications program that features easy to use scripting and a large number of file transfer protocols. There were versions for DOS, OS/2 and Windows.

IBM Common User Access Samples (1987) 0 DOS

This is a floppy disk containing DOS based Common User Access sample programs. These sample programs are rough mockups that demonstrate the user interface standards specifications laid out by IBM. This was part of their Systems Application Architecture series.

Microsoft Access Business Information Access Program (1985) 0 Communications DOS

First released in 1985, the Microsoft Access Business Information Access Program is a telecommunications program that features VT100, VT52 and TTY terminal emulation, macros, a powerful scripting language, self-learning scripts, data import/export facilities, multiple windowed sessions, and built in support for a variety of on-line services. It competed with Procomm, Crosstalk, Relay Gold, and PC-Talk.

PFS Access is an easy to use, but rather basic, telecommunications program designed to fit in with the low cost PFS series products. It lacks many features found in more professional products.
