LotusWorks 1.1

Formerly Electric Desk/AlphaWorks from Alpha Software, Lotus Works is an all in one office suite for DOS that includes a word processor, spell check, spreadsheet, graphics, database, and communications. It targeted the lower end and first time computer buyers. It competed against other all in one office suites such as FrameWork, PFS First Choice, and Microsoft Works

Release notes

This LotusWorks release is actually a rebranded version of PFS:WindowWorks.

This release is a bit odd (more of a WTF, really), Packard Bell was well known for bundling the DOS version of LotusWorks, based on Electric Desk/AlphaWorks, as well a menu program for selecting DOS or Windows. A native Windows program would be less jarring to new users, but there is not much information about this Windows LotusWorks version. It is especially odd because PFS:WindowWorks is a significantly different product, so compatibility and support would have suffered. It appears this was short-lived and they started bundling Microsoft Works instead soon after this.
