Smartcom II
Hayes Smartcom is an easy to use communications program geared toward beginners. Hayes was a well known and popular maker of hardware modem products, and sold Smartcom alongside their hardware as a complementary product.
Smartcom competed with communication programs such as ProComm, Crosstalk, and Relay Gold.
Release notes
Smartcom II supported macros and unattended automation, but over all was not very powerful. It only emulates VT100, VT102, and VT52 terminals.
