Digitalk Smalltalk/V 1.2 (DOS)

Smalltalk/V was the first widely available version of Smalltalk. It was developed by Digitalk in 1986 for DOS, Macintosh, and later Windows.

It featured the ability to make applications that visually appeared native to the Macintosh or Windows, and application could make use of external natively compiled libraries. It brought Smalltalk object-oriented programming to the PC without the need for it to be a full Smalltalk workstation, and did so at a relatively low price.
