Wise InstallMaster 5.x

Wise InstallMaster is a tool for creating Windows setup programs.

It featured ease of use compared to its competitor and a powerful installation scripting system. The application will guide developers through the steps needed to make a setup program, and includes GUI tools for making scripts and custom dialog boxes. It supported application installations from floppy disk, CD-ROM, and later the Internet, as well as automatic application uninstallation.

It competed against InstallShield and Microsoft's setup technologies.

Wise Install System is a tool for creating Windows setup programs based of WiseScript, which later was renamed to Wise InstallMaster after GLBS change it's name into Wise Solutions, Inc but back to Wise Installation System in version 9. It was notable for InstallShield competitor prior discontinue notice from Symantec.

Installation instructions

The setup contains both 16-bit and 32-bit IDE as well both installer stub programs.
