QuickPascal 1.x

Microsoft QuickPascal was a short-lived dialect of Pascal created specifically to compete with Borland Turbo Pascal. It incorporated many Borland-specific features at the expense of backwards compatibility with the earlier Microsoft Pascal product. While QuickPascal was technically a decent product, it could not compete with Turbo Pascal and was pulled from the market.

Microsoft QuickPascal supports source compatibly with Borland Turbo Pascal, dropping ISO Pascal compatiblity. It also support binary compatiblity with existing third party Turbo Pascal unit libraries, dropping OBJ library support.
