[OFFER] Freespire

edited August 2017 in Offers & Requests
Freespire was the free version of Linspire (aka Lindows).
It was meant to be open-source and run Windows Software through Wine.
It is very rare and I finally found the some versions.
Unfortunately I Could Find only three versions of it like 1.0.1.3 , 2.0.3 And 2.0.8, The Last version of Freespire.
After 2.0.8 Linspire and Freespire discontinued :( .
So in order to save it should I donate it to Winworld?

  • I guess you could. This would make a good addition to the Linux collection in the Library.

This Linux is so lost that no one knows about it. :(
  • Then I suggest that you contribute it. I didn't know Freespire existed until you posted this thread.

You can know about Freespire at this link https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freespire

Also, You Can See Their Website At https://web.archive.org/web/20100914111916/http://www.freespire.org/

    Thank You.
  • YES please upload it if you haven't done it, and my guess is that the staff will file it in the Linspire section.

I tried to find install images for Freespire, but all I got was a scam link that was posted on a blog thing by a spam bot and when I scrolled down, there was a lot of SEO poisoning garbage, and the 'download link' kept leading to scam pages.
