The interesting thing is this version is nearly identical to original non-OEM MS-DOS 5.00 (a bit different setup.ini and a couple of text files).

I think it was pretty common thing starting from MS-DOS 4.0 when OEM-versions had just minor differences comparing to original DOS version, in some cases - no difference at all (i.e. MS-DOS 4.00 Sampo OEM). At that time x86-based models incompatible with IBM PC nearly disappeared from the market.

Already uploaded on WW is modified on Disk 3.

This is dumped from original media.
I recommend to replace modified Disk 3 with untouched one.
Also I recommend to rename old one with the following.

    Microsoft MS-DOS 5.0 (1991-11-11) (3.5-720k)
    or
    Microsoft MS-DOS 5.0a (3.5-720k)
