INSTALL ERROR: Microsoft Macro Assembler 6.0 (3.5)

This install is not functional. Could I please get someone to either second that experience or let me know the problem is on my end.

YES... I know there are other version... But software that's not installing correctly should probably be taken down. ;)

    Thanks for pointing that out. There seems to be something horribly borked in that disk set.

    I have uploaded a corrected copy in both 720k and 1.2mb disk formats. Please give those a try.

    I guess this broken disk image was from any ftp site.
    The problem is that first uploader didin't check (verifiy) disk image.
    Also it is not dumped from original media.

    I've checked SomeGuy's uploaded one.
    But I wonder it is also from original media.
    It looks like from original mediam but no volume name exists on both 3.5" and 5.25" disks.
    (Volume name exists on 5.0 / 5.1 / 6.0b / 6.11)
    Anyway there is no problem to install.
