why cant we view the directory index of the servers

why cant we view the directory indexes of the servers? that used to be possible but its not anymore

can someone enable it so we can view the files on the servers (the .winworldpc.com ones)

    It is disabled to prevent bandwidth leaching. You have to go through the download page, which may display a happy little ad to help pay for the servers.

    Plus it displays some supplemental information, including some history about the software, its requirements, and any setup information like serial numbers. It's really nice, and SomeGuy and all the other VIPs have done a great job with keeping it tidy.
