WinNT 4 Service Pack 4?

edited December 2015 in Software
I noticed that in the patches/SPs list for Windows NT 4, there isn't an entry for Service Pack 4. Judging by the size of all other SPs, I believe all of them are merely incremental and are not a "one-size-fits-all" kind of thing. I managed to find it here, in case it's needed on WinWorld.

Standard: http://sdfox7.com/nt40/SP4I386.EXE
128-bit encrypted: http://sdfox7.com/nt40/hiencry/sp4/NT4SP4I.128.EXE

The site also has 128-bit versions of SPs 5 and 6.

  • SP6 can be installed cumulative.

Tested from SP1 install and running SP6
  • Most of the versions of NT 4 I have came across already had SP4 slip streamed in.
  • Huh? Most are SP1 slipped in. Sometimes you'll see SP3 (for later releases and updated editions) or SP6. (if it's a later creation)
  • I've ran into one copy with SP1 and the rest over the years had SP4. Never came across a copy that had SP6 slip streamed, kinda wish I did back in the day so I wouldn't be limited to a small active partition.
