One of the pictures show the i3 7300, with a base clock of 4 Ghz and a TDP of only 51W, the other shows a pentium, clocked at 3.8(!) Ghz, and it apparently also supports HT.

Also, the i3 7350k will support overclocking, it even has turbo boost. For less than $180 it will be pretty much affordable, yet powerful.

  • A lot of people seem to forget that i3, i5, i7, etc, don't indicate how powerful the processor is, but rather what features it supports.

Anyways, I won't be getting that processor because I don't want to use Windows 10. (Remember, Microsoft stated Windows 7 and 8 won't be supported on Skylake and newer?)

Turns out that it will now be supported until the end of each OSes time. No need to panic now.

Except Skylake is still the end of the line for that, unless you go with something that's not Windows. Kaby Lake and AMD's newest thing will still mandate 10.
