I've got 1.4GB free on my server and no real use for it, do you lot want me to take something from, say, citymail? The speeds would be the same (damn 384k DSL), but at least it would be reliable.

Scratch that for the time being. Something funky is going on with my router. I can't even connect to it.

Sratch the scratching that. I rebooted my comp, my server, my modem, and my router (not in that order). *shrug* Works now. Quite random. :|

So anyway, I'll take any files needing a server. Perhaps even be a 98SE mirror if I set things up right.

Try running a blockland svr and have some ppl play with you on it. If it's gonna drop connections or randomly die under a load we all'd best know that soon.

I'm not certain Blockland exists for Linux...will a dedicated ET server run without X?

You know, I'm also running a mini-FTP, so that might work just as well.

Grr.

Alright, well I'd still think more assuredly of it if you could run some test like that against it.

I'll go for...the NTs. How much space do they use? (I've got 1670MB available)

~951MB, however I don't think having them all on one server is a good idea.

It looks like that when unlimited, it does not-so-nice things to my downstream. So, I installed mod_bandwidth. Are these OK settings?

BandWidthModule On
BandWidthPulse 550000
BandWidth All 2500
MaxConnection 12
